Reading List: Jake and Dinos Chapman

In order to inspire further reflection before or after your visit of Jake and Dinos Chapman’s Come and See, the current exhibition at DHC/ART, here are a few reading suggestions. Some of these references are directly linked to Jake and Dinos Chapman’s work. Others touch upon wider notions and concepts related to the exhibition, such as the Baroque, the grotesque, the carnivalesque, affect, transgression, abjection, reification and collaboration. We expect this reading list to evolve over time, mirroring our own ongoing research and questioning processes as we create educational content for the exhibition. Enjoy!
