This year, DHC/ART Foundation for Contemporary Art will be renamed Fondation Phi pour l’art contemporain as part of Founder/Director Phoebe Greenberg’s wish to consolidate all of her interests in art and culture under one rubric: Phi. As a concept, ‘Phi’ is the basis of the ‘golden ratio’ or ‘divine proportions’ that inform aesthetics in art, architecture, as well as the human body.
The Foundation will remain a global ambassador, continuing its mission to bring experiences with contemporary art to local, national, and international audiences. As such, the Foundation maintains its commitment to offering exhibitions, events, and educational programs free of charge in order to ensure accessibility to art on a number of levels.
The Foundation’s new name and rebranding campaign will take effect in advance of the opening of the next exhibition, which will be launched at the end of April 2019.
